Verizon Headquarters New Generator Building
- Project consisted of a new generator building to service Verizon’s headquarters. The project started in January of 2009 and was completed and online in June of 2009. Because of the complexity and speed of this project the project management challenges were many, but were all handled by paying strict attention to the myriad details that were constantly evolving.
- The project consisted of four 2500KW gensets with Urea injection systems to meet the EPA standards, along with 2 12,000 gallon concrete encased above ground fuel tanks. The electrical service feeds were also re-routed through the new switch gear while keeping the entire complex on line with no interruptions.
